Full-Day Snorkeling Tour to Kisite Marine Park with Wasini Island
Snorkeling Tour to Kisite Marine Park
Enjoy Kenya’s most popular snorkeling and diving boat safari to the renowned Kisite Marine Park, located just 55km from Diani Beach. Experience the thrill of snorkeling in Kisite Marine Park, exploring warm waters filled with pristine coral and diverse marine life. The park is home to dolphins, turtles, stingrays, moray eels, and an incredible variety of fish and coral species.
Coral Spirit offers sailing dhows, ensuring small group sizes for added safety and personalized service. This full-day trip to the Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park, located off the Kenyan Coast about 80km south of Mombasa near the Tanzania border, promises an unforgettable adventure.
Upon arrival at the Shimoni Jetty, board an Arabic Dhow and set sail to Kisite Marine Park for snorkeling and swimming. During the journey, there is a high chance of spotting dolphins. These friendly dolphins often approach the boat, giving you an opportunity to see them up close. However, as these dolphins live in the open sea, it's not recommended to jump in and swim. The captain and his crew will guide you, ensuring you enjoy a great view of these magnificent creatures.
Kisite Marine Park is one of the best and most accessible spots for snorkeling in Kenya, with its fantastic array of fish and vibrant coral reefs. Previous visitors have even been lucky enough to spot whales and whale sharks. Enjoy snorkeling in Kisite Marine Park to your heart’s content before heading to the private Coral Spirit Restaurant to savor a traditional Swahili seafood lunch, with chicken or vegetarian options available for those who prefer.
This full-day tour costs $1255 with Coral Spirit and includes hotel or villa pick-up in Diani or Mombasa, the dhow ride, Marine Park entrance fees, snorkeling equipment, snacks, water, and beverages on the boat, a seafood lunch with alcoholic beverages at the Coral Spirit Restaurant, and a visit to the historic slave caves before returning to your hotel. Diving in Kisite Marine Park is available for an additional $50.
Kisite Marine Park offers some of the most breathtaking snorkeling and diving experiences in the world, making it a must-visit for marine enthusiasts.
